Di Fabio’s (b. 1990, Italy) practice centers on the body as a landscape, both materially and conceptually. Working with casts of his own body in clay, glass, and metal, he explores the intersection of fragility and resilience, investigating the queer body through themes of intimacy, illness, and desire.
To prepare the show, Hjort Di Fabio spent the summer in residency at Statens Værksteder, creating new works for the exhibition.
