The talk will center around Davide’s current exhibition Zoom, which features works by the late Danish artist Niels Nedergaard. Johan Zimsen Kristiansen, curated the 2022 retrospective of Nedergaard at The David Collection, and with his extensive knowledge he will help lay the groundwork for a dialogue that bridges the two artists across generations.
Concurrently with Davide’s exhibition, Johan Zimsen Kristiansen has published the book Imellem mænd on Danish queer art from the 1970s to today, in which Davide’s work is featured.
The conversation will touch upon central themes from both the exhibition and the book and highlight overlooked perspectives in art history.
