Bjørlo (b. 1986, Norway) explores painting as a space where rhythm, composition, and plane coexists on equal terms. For Bjørlo, a painting is never just an image but a state where possibilities take form. Within this space, traditional hierarchies between abstraction and figuration dissolve, merging into a unified project. The works unfold as inner landscapes, at once open and closed, where presence and absence converge. In Bjørlo's practice, the painted surface extends beyond itself, reflecting back on the very process of its becoming.
