Brigade is pleased to present سراب Sarab, a solo exhibition by Ghazaal Nasiri (b. 1999, Shiraz, Iran). سراب Sarab marks Nasiri’s debut solo exhibition with the gallery.
The exhibition presents a new series of ink on linen works alongside a large scale embroidery that unfolds as a narrative journey through the Shiraz highlands, a terrain embedded in Nasiri’s psyche, using ancient Persian mythologies as a framework to navigate the complexities of identity, silence, and angst.
The exhibition is accompanied by a text by Abirami Logendran.
