Coline Marotta, Keeping Mistakes and the Fear of Painting, 2022-2023
The gallery is excited to share that we will be participating in this years edition of Market Art Fair with a solo presentation of new works by gallery artist Coline Marotta. The fair will take place at Liljevalchs Konsthall in Stockholm, from 17 - 19 May 2024.

Drawing from her interest in the ontological, Coline Marotta's gentle expressionist paintings depict a mood of tranquility, comfort, and reconciliation. Her contemplative characters are long limbered, found in acts of embrace or reaching out, adding a sense of intimacy to the cramped spaces they inhabit.
Since finishing her MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (2017), Marotta has exhibited at Mine Project (Hong Kong), The Tennis Elbow (NYC) and the Public Gallery (London), amongst many others. Her work is included in several public collections such as Statens Kunstfond, alongside multiple notable private collections. Marotta lives and works in Copenhagen.
